HOW TO STAY INSPIRED
Long time, no see readers. I thought that the topic of how to stay inspired would be perfect, as I have been struggling with this myself lately and have finally gotten my mojo back. Staying motivated and inspired is something that I think that a lot of people deal with and have to work through. Here are a couple of things that I have done to get back into the swing of things that are honestly so easy, but can really change your mindset.
The first thing is to cleanse your social media accounts. I really believe that you are who you surround yourself with and this can be true when it comes to who you follow on your socials too. Simply go through who you follow on your instagram, twitter, etc... and only follow people that benefit you. After you have done this you can find accounts that make you want to be the best version of yourself. Finding people that are doing things that you want to be doing in the future whether it's their lifestyle, fashion choices, relationships they have, the list goes on and on, but following these people can be super motivating to get to where you want to be.
Lately I have been watching a lot more YouTube videos and getting a ton of inspiration this way. This relates to the social media cleanse, but YouTube is a way to get more indepth ideas on all kinds of topics. I love watching videos to get inspired about all things fashion and lifestyle. Seeing people creating content also makes me driven to create things of my own.
Watching documentaries are an amazing way to feel innspired as well. Netflix has a great selection of documentaries and they always leave me feeling so excited to go out and do something great of my own. Finding documentaries about people in the industry that you are interested in is epecially important. I have been watching a bunch of fashion designer's stories and other people in the fashion industry. These stories make me so much more passionate about this industry and so excited for my future.
My last piece of advice is to practice good self care. Doing things like waking up early and having good diet and exercise habits can make you feel so much better and willing to do something productive.
These things all sound very simple, and they are, but they will make such a difference in your mindset and really change your motivation. It is so important to have a passion and to feel inspired to create.
