Being stuck at home has definitely brought out my creative side. I have been seeing this trend all over Tik Tok and Pinterest, where people take thrifted men’s shirts and make them into crop top and skirt sets. This is a super easy project to do.
In the midst of a global pandemic, it seems as if everyone has decided to come face to face with the artist, chef, and creativity within them. This led to A LOT of tie-dye action taking place. I thought to myself, “No way am I hopping on that bandwagon. That’s all anyone is doing right now.”

As February wraps up I will have been living in Florence, Italy for a month now. Studying abroad was always something that I wanted to do while I was in college. It is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity, to be able to immerse yourself into a completely different culture for four months.

This Spring Break I had the amazing opportunity of traveling all the way from Ames, Iowa to New York City for a field study trip. During this trip we were able to explore the city, while also learning so much about the fashion industry and getting to see possible future places to be employed like Hearst, Dolce & Gabbana, and Tommy Hilfiger, just to name a few.
This year I moved into my first apartment and decorating my bedroom was one of the things that I was most excited about. While I have been stuck at home during this quarantine, I have been focusing on my skincare. I have always been the type of person that always does my makeup, whether a full face or just a quick tinted moisturizer.
During quarantine, it’s easy to mope around and feel a little blue. I have been really focusing on my skincare during this self-isolation period because I’m not wearing makeup on a day to day basis. But to lift my spirits I decided to do a full face, with a show-stopping blue lid.
